Virginia P. MacAlpine (Nagy) , born October 12,1933, passed away on Jan 6, 2021 after a long road of gradual decline, She grew up in So. Weymouth and graduated from Weymouth High School class of 1952.
Virginia lived in Whitman Ma from 1961-1983 after which she and her husband moved to Epping NH. She enjoyed being a crossing guard at the Holt School in Whitman for 7 years. She especially loved her neighbors the Hanby’s and the Keiran’s, when she lived on Ellis Ave. She was best friends with Jeanne (Gardner) Fay of Whitman. Virginia was a member of the Rebekeh Lodge for 62 years.
She was the daughter of William and Dolly Craig (deceased) and sister to Eleanor Francario (deceased) and Carolyn Keever (deceased). She is predeceased by her husband David G MacAlpine Sr and son David G MacAlpine Jr.
She is survived by her son Craig G. MacAlpine and his wife Cindy, and by her daughter T. Bethe Gabriel and her husband Gene. She also has six grandchildren: Marc MacAlpine (and Molly), Eric MacAlpine (and Colleen), Jessica Powers (and Matthew), Tyler Gabriel (and Caren), Bonnie Whitten (and Phil) and Ian MacAlpine. She also has several loved great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid complications there will only be a brief graveside service.
