Ralph J. Cassel, 92 of Derry, NH died Friday January 8, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Barnstead, NH surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born in Gary, IN on July 24, 1928, a son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Doorley) Cassel.
He served with the US Air Force. Ralph had been employed as a tool die inspector for Raytheon Corp. Ralph rode motorcycles his entire life and was a member of the Romeos Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Boyle) Cassel of Derry, three sons, Brian J. Cassel and his wife AnnMarie of Pittsfield, NH, Scott A. Cassel and his wife Cheryl of Tarpon Springs, FL, and Craig M. Cassel and his wife Cheryl of Roach, MO, two daughters, Erin M. Bruen and her husband Timothy of Zebulon, NC, and Stacy A. Antonelli and her husband Steve Soucy of Barnstead, NH, 29 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, and his daughter-in-law, Donna Cassel. He was predeceased by his sons, Marc A. Cassel and Brett A. Cassel, as well as his sisters, Dorothy M. Genson, and Hazel Stinson.
The family will celebrate a private funeral Mass for Ralph at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry with cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VA Medical Center, 718 Smyth Rd., Manchester, NH 03104.
