Brenda Joyce Morgan-Williams, 75, of Auburndale, Florida passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Lakeland, Florida. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Morgan-Williams will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service. COVID-19 protocol will be observed during the visitation and the funeral service.
Mrs. Morgan-Williams' family members will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 22, 1945 in Tifton, Brenda was the daughter of the late Howard Morgan and Naomi Walker Gregory. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Lee Day. Before retiring, she was a cook at the Clock Restaurant in Auburndale, Florida and she was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of God's Revival Center by Faith in Wahneta, Florida. She loved her family and was always there if you needed her. She never judged anyone and always prayed for people.
Brenda is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Vernon Joe Jr. and Deana Williams of Bartow, Florida; two daughters, Stacy Denise Williams of Auburndale, Florida and Angel Denise Williams of Bartow, Florida; one brother and sister-in-law, Wendell and Marsha Gregory of Lake Wales, Florida; one sister, Robbie Jean Jackson of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; and several grandchildren.
