Standish - Sheryl Ann (Claxton) Beeman passed away on January 4, 2021 in Standish, Maine at age 65. Sheryl was born December 17, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona.
She resided in New England since she was 12 years old with her grandfather, until she married Edward Beeman III. She loved her family and always enjoyed talking with them on the phone or on occasion to visit them on the west coast. She loved wildlife and adored dogs (mostly black labs), outdoors and picnics, gardening, collecting special rocks and watching movies (especially Disney). She was always interested in her family heritage, learning as much as possible.
She worked as a home care provider, working with seniors. She loved being there to care for them, always feeling she was making a difference. She had trained as a CNA and was very excited to help others.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward P. Beeman III in 2013 and daughter, Jennifer Lynn Beeman in 1977 as an Infant at 9 months old. Her parents: Jearol C. Claxton and Irma Isabelle Taylor. Three brothers, Jearol C. Claxton Jr., Frank C. Claxton and Steven M. Claxton.
She has two surviving siblings: Violet Diane (Claxton) Boyle and Tanya Michelle (Claxton) Botsford. Also 9 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. She was engaged to be married to David Linscott of Standish, Maine.
Sheryl will be missed and loved forever! Sheryl, you can now be with your baby girl and hold her in your arms forever.
A spring burial is planned in Hampstead, New Hampshire where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Edward, and her daughter, Jennifer.
