WORCESTER: Donald C. Packard, 88, of 52 Country Club Blvd., formerly of 8 Emerson Rd., died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in Autumn Village, 25 Oriol Drive.
He leaves his wife of 41 years, Beverly M. (Snow) Packard; two daughters, Beverly M. Schiff of East Longmeadow, Janice M. Doherty of Worcester; five sons, Donald W. Packard of Auburn, Richard B. Packard of Boulder, CO, Edward J. Morey, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Bruce S. Morey of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Steven G. Lloyd of Hudson; 16 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. He was born and raised in Worcester, son of the late William F. and Lillian C. (George) Packard, and was a graduate of Commerce High School.
Donald was a draftsman at Vellumoid Company in Worcester, where he worked for 45 years until he retired. He was an Army Air Corps Veteran of World War II serving with the Eastern Command Rescue Squad in Poltava, Russia.
After cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
