Obituary

Boylston: Barbara A. (White) Howarth, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus, following complications from COVID-19. She leaves 4 children- Ronnie Howarth and his wife Jean of Boylston, Todd Howarth and his wife Christine of Oxford, Deb Trudeau and her husband Ken of Holden, and Shawna Hurley of Worcester; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a sister and brother-in-law Marsha and Ron Wagner of Boylston. Nephews and Nieces.

Barbara was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Cowee) White. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked for many years in her family business- Ralph White's Ski Shop in Boylston. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Boylston and proudly played the Bells with the Bell Choir. She enjoyed volunteering at UMASS Hospital as a greeter in the pediatric wing and at the gift shop. She enjoyed skiing, going to the Rhode Island beaches, rooting for the Red Sox, watching Tennis and spending time with her family- especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

All current services will be private. A public celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Veterans Inc.
