Anthony S. Ruggiero, 71, of Londonderry, NH, passed peacefully Monday January 4, 2021, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Boston, MA on February 2, 1949, a son of Anthony and Aleiouse Ruggiero. Tony was a US Navy veteran who served honorably during the Vietnam War from 1967-1970. He was a member of Carpenters Union 49 and had a passion for carpentry. He was an avid New England Sports fan who also enjoyed attending all of his children’s and grandchildren’s events. He had a passion that was unmatched for his family and was a hero and role model to many!
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Louise “Terry” (Ballou) Ruggiero of Londonderry; Son Ryan and wife Bridget, their two children Anthony and Hannah Ruggiero of Hooksett, NH and Son Christopher, his two children Nicholas and Ava Ruggiero of Manchester, NH; daughter, Melissa and son, Aiven Ruggiero of Manchester; two brothers, John Ruggiero of Londonderry and Dan Ruggiero of Chelmsford, MA; three sisters, Judy Ferreira of Lowell, MA, Linda Ruggiero of Concord, NC and Jeri Wesson of Hudson, NH and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact and maintain social distancing.
