Michael Warren McFall, 71, died January 2, 2021 at his residence after an extended illness and is now in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior.
He was born in Elwood, Indiana on January 21, 1949 to Jesse McFall and Roberta (Trindel) Silvey.
He graduated from Highland High School in 1967, received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Purdue University in 1971, and earned his MBA from Anderson University in 1993.
He was a long-time employee of General Motors, serving the majority of the time as an environmental engineer in the chemical waste treatment facility before finally retiring in 2007.
He was active in his church, serving as both a deacon and elder, singing in the church choir and teaching Sunday school. He will be remembered for his thorough and thoughtful approach to life, his quick and dry wit, and for the love he had for his family.
He is survived by his wife, of 51 years, Jo Ellen (Bonner) McFall; sister, Marla Edgar; step-brother, Virle (Cindy) Collier; sons, Michael (Kim) McFall II and Alex (Laurel Hill) McFall; grandchildren, Olivia and Owen McFall; brother-in-law, Ed (Sharon) Bonner; sister-in-law, Penny Bonner; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends, Gary and Ginger Fisher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse McFall and Roberta (Trindel) Silvey, step-father Robert Silvey, in-laws, Lowell Bonner and Betty (Little) Bonner, and brother-in-law Jeff Bonner.
Services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Steve Huddleston officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to Grant County Cancer Society.
