Wanda “Sue” Dorman Collier, 78, of Omega passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Collier at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Omega Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Rickey Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Omega Cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the service.
Sue was born on December 8, 1942 in Omega and she was the daughter of the late Harvey Edgar Dorman and Christine Cosper Dorman Collier. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, M. C. Collier; her husband, Emerson Collier; her daughter, Joyce Collier; and two brothers, Raymond Dorman and Billy Collier. She worked for McDonald’s making biscuits for many years. She was a member of Omega Church of God.
Mrs. Collier is survived by two daughters, Jennine Gomez and husband Lorenzo, and Lisa Collier, all of Omega; three brothers, Ray Dorman, Larry Collier, and Jerry Collier and wife Linda; five grandchildren, Lorenzo, Jr and Luisa, Artemio and Yadira, Enrique, Eric and Bethany and Adrianna; and three great-grandchildren, Miranda, Eli and Lorena.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone that helped take care of her for the last few years.
