Gertrude (Bryan) Kenrick, of Reading, formerly of Quincy, passed away on March 13, 2006 at her home. She was 90 years old.
Born in Quincy, Gertrude was a resident of Reading for many years. Gertrude was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all. She was a dedicated homemaker for her entire life. She loved her family. Her love for them went unparalleled. She babysat all of her grandchildren for many years.
Gertrude was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Kenrick, Jr.. She was the devoted mother of Beryl Wray and her husband Richard of Ohio, Marjorie Libitz and her husband Michael and Jean Nickerson all of Reading. She was the cherished grandmother of Keith, Patrick, Bryan, Jennifer, Mary Ann, Matthew and Kristen and great grandmother of 5.
A Funeral Service celebrating Gertrude’s life will be held on Friday at 9am in the Chapel of the Joseph Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Walnut Hills Cemetery, Chestnut Hill.
