Ann Catherine (Canton) Sheehey

Ann Catherine Sheehey of Andover passed away on January 2, 2021 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
Born in Lincoln, NH on February 26, 1936, to William J. Canton and M. Elizabeth (Doyle) Canton. Educated in Lincoln schools and graduated from Fisher Junior College in Boston. Stayed in Boston and worked for Hercules Powder Co. Married Robert E. (Bob) Sheehey from Lincoln in 1958. They lived in Boston until March 1961 when they moved to Andover. Their first daughter Catherine (Cathy) was one year old when they moved.
Ann was a fan of live theatre and belonged to Show of the Month Club in Boston and was also a season ticket holder at the Hampton Playhouse and North Shore Music Theatre. She helped with the Andover Girl Scouts for many years.
Being an only child married to an only child she liked nothing more than having the family together. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Bob and her daughters, Cathy A. Silvestri and her husband Vinny of Amherst, NH, Maureen E. McCune and her husband Kevin of Plymouth, MA, and her son Brian R. Sheehey and his wife Lydia of Andover, MA. She is also survived by her nine beloved grandchildren: Maggie, Colin, Emily, Melissa, Vincent, Casey, Kirsten, Sean, and Liam and two great grandchildren: Cassidy and Malloy.
