Gloria J. Ellis, 92, of Londonderry, NH passed away December 31, 2020 at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, NH. She was born September 10, 1928 in Ford City, PA and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Leone) Canil. She lived her early years in Larchmont, NY and had been a resident of Londonderry since 1946.
Gloria was a homemaker for many years, raising her children. Then in 1962 embarked on her new career as a window clerk at the Londonderry Post Office, were she was a staple for 26 years. Gloria will be greatly missed but will live on forever through her children and grandchildren.
Members of the family include her two daughters, Lynne P. Ellis and her fiancé` Larry Cashman and Valerie G. Ellis, her son, Brad B. Ellis, three grandsons, Ryan Hudon & his wife Kristen, Matt Hudon and Terisa Lee and Ross Hudon and his wife Leah, her great granddaughter, Madelynn Rose Hudon, and her sister, Edith J. Cesario, as well as several nieces and nephews. Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bernard E. Ellis in 1994, and by her siblings, August, William, Albert, Julia and Annette.
Funeral services were held privately. She will be laid to rest in the spring with her husband at Pleasant View Cemetery in Londonderry.
