Carolyn M. Tucker Moore, 50, of Lenox died Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in the West Berrien Community. Rev. Jim Williams will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Sons and nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, March 16, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson.
Ms. Moore was born on December 7, 1955 in Winter Haven, FL and was the daughter of the late A. C. Tucker and Ruth Simons Ivester of Young Harris. She was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons: Joey Moore of Manchester, Tennessee, Sam Moore of Woodbury, Tennessee and Danny Moore of Polk County, FL; one daughter, Melissa Rhodes of Mary Hill, North Carolina; one brother, Jay Tucker of Macon; three sisters, Martha Dean of Winter Haven, FL, Patty Daurghty of Macon and Angel Ledford of Young Harris; seven grandchildren; and two cousins, who were her caregivers, Sue Walker of Lenox and Jennifer Harnage of Lenox.
