FRAMINGHAM: Robert E. Keeler, Sr., 77, died on December 14, 2020 following a period of declining health.
He was born in Cambridge on February 10, 1943 the son of the late Paul B. Keeler and Olga G. (Taylor) Keeler.
Bob was the beloved husband of the late Mary V. (Kelton) Keeler who died on September 21, 2008.
He was the devoted father of Robert E. Keeler, Jr of Upton and Scott L. Keeler and his wife Misty M. Keeler of Fremont, New Hampshire. Cherished grandfather of Stephen R. Keeler and Megan M. Keeler both of Westborough and Mariah M. Keeler of Fremont, New Hampshire. Brother of David Keeler and his wife Barbara Keeler of Acton and predeceased by brother Paul Keeler. As well as many nieces and nephews.
Bob spent his formative years in Weston and has been a resident of Framingham for the past 53 years. He graduated from Wentworth Institute with his degree in Engineering. Prior to his retirement he was the Foreman of Building Maintenance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Mass Turnpike Authority Division.
He loved to spend time fishing and did so every chance he had. Bob also enjoyed many memorable times with his family at his second home in New Hampshire.
At the request of his family and due to COVID-19 guidelines, visitations will be omitted and a Memorial Service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at a later date and time to be announced when it is safe for everyone to gather together.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his memory may be sent to your local national MS society or local favorite charity.
