Age 87 of St. Paul. Passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wally; sons Gary and Dale. Survived by brother Dick Forster (Jeanie); son Richard (Debbie); grandchildren Cassandra (Thad), Derek (Trish), Geoffrey (Christina), Michael; great grandchildren Camden, Natalie, Brandon, and Evelyn; and many other loving family and friends. Betty was a devoted member of Hazel Park United Church of Christ and American Red Cross lifetime volunteer award recipient for her time with blood drives. She was also an exceptional knitter, having made hundreds of infant hats and sweaters for hospitals and homeless shelters. Betty enjoyed cooking delicious German food, playing bridge, and daily walks around the neighborhood. A special thank you to the staff of Elk Ridge Alzheimer’s Special Care Center for their compassionate care. A private family service will be held followed by internment at Elmhurst Cemetery.
