David K. Chodat, 78, of Medway died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Milford Regional Medical Center after a brief battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Jodoin) Chodat since 1964.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia on July 31, 1942, he was the son of the late Louis H. and Stella (Brinham) Chodat.
David was a resident of Medway since 1973. He grew up in Vancouver and earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
He worked as an electrical engineer for many years for a couple of engineering firms until opening his own firm, David K. Chodat Engineering.
David loved sports and was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed playing tennis and racquetball and loved to skydive.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Joseph and Robert Chodat, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother Rick Chodat of Vancouver.
He was the brother of the late Judith Carlson.
His funeral services will be held privately at the request of his family.
