Victoria A. Cassiere, 90, of New City, New York passed away at the home of her son, on Sunday, December 27, 2020 surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace and no longer suffering. Victoria was born on March 16, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to John and Philomena DeRosa. She is predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Ralph, who was the love of her life.
Victoria is survived by her children, Victoria and her husband, Marc, of Warwick NY, Lauren and her husband Michael, of Tappan, NY, and Ralph and his wife, Diane of Congers, NY. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren (with another one arriving in July).
Victoria was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, aunt and very special friend to many. She truly enjoyed living a full life and had an infectious smile.
Victoria had many passions in life including gardening, painting, playing cards, and creating beautiful stained glass. Victoria loved to travel, visiting new places and meeting new people, forming new friendships. She could be found on the dance floor enjoying life to its fullest. Victoria was a member of St. Augustine Church, and a member of New City Senior Club #2.
Victoria will be remembered as a hard-working, fun, loving, honorable woman who did everything for her family. She will also be remembered for her beautiful smile, funny sense of humor, and her absolute love of dancing. Victoria’s love and devotion to her family will always be remembered. We were honored to know her and Heaven will be happy to greet her. She will be dancing through the gates of Heaven right into the arms of her beloved husband, who was her life.
Victoria will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Victoria's family will receive relatives and close friends for a funeral mass at St. Augustine’s Church, New City, NY on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11 AM with burial immediately following at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
Mindful of Covid-19 precautions, masks and social distancing will be observed.
