MCCARTHY, JAMES MICHAEL passed away on December 24, 2020.
Beloved husband, father, friend and co-worker. Elevator constructor over 20 years who excelled in his field. Incredibly talented musician. Most intelligent and creative soul one would ever meet. Extremely hardworking and driven to succeed. Once in billion kind of man – unique, interesting and special in every way. There was nothing he could not achieve if he chose to try. His talents were endless.
James is survived by his wife Kristie McCarthy and his two children, Lily N. McCarthy and James W. McCarthy all of Pembroke as well as his parents James H. McCarthy of Wareham and Janet M. Roust of Pembroke.
James suffered from depression and succumbed to his struggle after a lifelong battle. He will never be forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
Visiting hours will be held at the Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston from Saturday, January 2, 2020 from 2-4 PM. Interment services will be private.
