Linda S. (Govoni) Boucher, age 70, of Brockton, died December 10, 2020 at Care One in Newton, following a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, Linda was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Guinasso) Govoni. She was a graduate of Brockton High School and for many years was a Secretary at Old Rochester High School. She truly enjoyed her years working at the high school. Time spent helping the students and chaperoning games and events was special to her. While living in Onset for many years, Linda enjoyed the beach and walks. She also loved dogs. When asked what she was most proud of, she would answer her son Max.
Linda is survived by her son Max Lewis of Newton, a brother William Govoni and his wife Terry DeArruda of Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jean Cotter, Francis Govoni and John Govoni.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday, December 30, from 9 to 9:30am with a funeral service at 9:30am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In following COVID guidelines, masks must be worn and social distancing observed in the funeral home, with a maximum of 25 people in the funeral home at any one time.
