MARSH Barbara E. Died on December 25, 2020, of Walpole, formerly of Dedham. Loving daughter of the late Harold and Elizabeth (Cunningham) Marsh. Barbara was a longtime resident of Dedham, graduating from Dedham High School in 1940. While in the Dedham School System, she was very active in the Girl Scouts of America and achieved the rare rank of Golden Eagle. Barbara graduated from Katherine Gibbs College. During her business career, she was an active member of the League of Catholic Women and the Boston Business and Professional Women’s Club. Shortly after retirement Barbara moved to New Pond Village, an active retirement community in Walpole. She is survived by cousin: Richard J. Cunningham and his wife Martha of Bridgewater, N.H. and their children.
Visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 456 High St. Dedham on Wednesday, December 30th from 9:30-10:45am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited, please follow covid guidelines. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, 420 Boylston Street, Suite 505, Boston, MA 02116.
