Obituary

Worcester: Mildred V. "Millie" or “Minnie” Hermanson, 95 passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in St. Mary's Healthcare. She leaves a niece Nancy Scott Osterberg of West Boylston; a nephew William D. Scott of Worcester; grand niece Lisa Osterberg Robertson and her husband Jason of Shrewsbury; grand nephew Paul Osterberg and his wife Kathrin of West Boylston; two great grand nieces Averie and Haleigh Robertson and two great grand nephews Alexander and Everett Osterberg She was predeceased by her sister Enid Scott and by brothers Vincent and Edwin Hermanson.

Millie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Gabriel William and Anna (Herndrickson) Hermanson. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked for many years in the payroll department at the former Norton Company. She was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Alter Guild, a member of the travel club at Norton Co., and enjoyed volunteering at The Lutheran Home and at the church. She loved to go to the Norton clam bakes, travel, bake, play cards, and spend time with her family, especially the children.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church 73 Lancaster St. Worcester on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial in All Faiths Cemetery. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Millie's memory may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
