Juana Amalia Reyes Alicea, age 77, of Hyde Park, formerly of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, passed on December 22, 2020. Wife of Jose E.Mora. Mother to Marynel Sanchez and Jorge L. Campos. Mother in Law to Rafael Sanchez, Jr. and Denise Campos. Loving Grandmother to Gaby, Nely, Rachel, Joey and Isaiah. Stepmother to Yasmin Mora and husband Miguel Cerinza and family. Juana loved her siblings in Puerto Rico and extended family. Cooking was Juana's passion and always had food ready on the stove for friends and family. She worked all her life as a stitcher and housekeeper. Juana loved to decorate her house with bright colors and ensured her love for roosters were highlighted. She enjoyed life, family and her many many friends to the fullest. Funeral services will take place at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Tuesday December 29 from 10 am until 12 noon. Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery. All attendees are to wear masks and practice social distancing.
