“Cry Not for Me, But Smile and Celebrate the Memories”
Bonnie Marie (Trainor) McKinnon, of Franklin, passed away in her sleep on December 21,2020 at the age of 61 due to complications from Alzheimer’s Disease. She was the wife of Daniel A. McKinnon.
Born in Newton, January 5, 1959, the daughter of Shirley (Seiberg) Trainor and the late Thomas Trainor, she was a graduate of Newton North High School.
Always fun and outgoing, Bonnie was quick to make friends with her sense of humor. She could usually be found taking her dog for long walks and singing along to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes.
She had a passion for creative writing and aspired to write children’s novels.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her daughter Jessie Sampsel and her husband Patrick Sampsel.
She is also survived by her siblings Cynthia Trainor, Lorraine Pasquantonio and Jay Trainor.
She was the sister of the late Stephen Trainor.
She is also survived by her sister- in-laws Linda Trainor and Virginia Coen, brother – in-law Roger McKinnon and sister -in - law Dena McKinnon. She was the Aunt of Molly, Jake, Cassie, Drew, Kerri, Michael and Jarad.
The immediate family requests privacy at this time.
A celebration of life service will be scheduled for a later date in the Spring of 2021.
