NEW BEDFORD… Madelyn Cirilo Texeira, 52, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday December 22, 2020 at home.
She was born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico a daughter of Juan Perez of Philadelphia and Felicita Cirilo Fall River. She was the spouse of Henry Texeira. Madelyn worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Catholic Memorial Home & Southpointe Rehab. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, had a very green thumb and taking care of her husband and children.
Survivors include her parents, her husband, 4 sons: Dario Alvarez of New Bedford, Dariel Alvarez of Florida, Darren Alvarez of New Bedford, Darian Alvarez of New Bedford, her siblings: Angel Rodriguez of Fall River, Alexander Cotto of Portsmouth, RI. Jesus M. Cotto of Boston, Randy Cotto and Harold Cotto both of Fall River, Mabel Muhammad of New Bedford, Iraima Cotto, Rosaly Cotto, Milissa Cotto Zoribel Cotto, Norma Acevedo, all of Fall River, Miguel A. Perez of Philadelphia, Yolanda M. Perez, Ricardo J. Perez, and Hilda G. Perez all of New York, many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Juan Perez Jr.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday December 26, at 6:00 PM at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be 4:00 PM – 6:00 P.M. prior to service.
