Giuseppe “Joseph” Fiore of Medford passed away on Monday, December 21st. He was 84. Born and raised in Ariano Irpino, Avelino, Italy, he was the son of the late Georgio and Rosa (Schiarillo) Fiore. Joseph immigrated from Italy to Boston’s North End eventually moving to Medford. Joseph was a dedicated employee at the Davidson Chevrolet Dealership in Medford for 45 years.
Giuseppe’s biggest passion was being a Nonno. He absolutely adored spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a dedicated husband, a great dad and the best Nonno. He will be greatly missed by all.
Guiseppe was the beloved husband of 60 years to Antonietta (Bruno) Fiore. He was the devoted father of Rosa Tgettis and her husband Chris, and George Fiore and his wife Teresa. He was the loving Nonno of Stephanie Bryszkowski and her husband Mat, Paul-Joseph “PJ” DeHetre and Jake Duclos Fiore. He was the great Nonno of Isabella and Lucas Bryszkowski. He was the dear brother of Luigie Fiore of Italy and the late Veneranda Carbone and Vincenza Prestipino and her surviving husband Antonino. He was the caring nephew of the late Veneranda DiDonato. He was the brother in law of Eleanor Wright and her husband John, Columbia Pace and her husband Dominic and the late Alba Ranzino. Guiseppe is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Following current Covid-19 regulations, relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with the family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St, Medford, on January 2, from 9-11AM, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
