James H. Chevalier, age 77, passed away on Dec. 20, 2020 from Baystate Medical Center. He was born on Dec. 19, 1943 in Holyoke, a son of the late Thomas H. and Margaret L. (Demers) Chevalier. James served in the US Army. He later worked as a sales rep for Norton Supply Co., for many years until he retired. He leaves his wife Ellen (Moores) Chevalier of Chicopee; 5 sons, Peter Chevalier of Chicopee, Jamie Chevalier of Chicopee, Timothy Chevalier of Chicopee, Walter Wesolowski of Colorado, David Chevalier of Holyoke; 6 daughters, Karen Papuga and her husband Donald of Springfield, Beth Carnevale and her husband Joe of Southwick, Mary Stoll and her husband David of FL, Cammie Foshee and her husband Jason of FL, Lisa Rose of South Hadley and Janlee Nash of Belchertown; 3 sisters, Marilyn Mcintosh of Chicopee, Patricia Chevalier of Chicopee and Bonnie Peter of FL. He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Azore Everton. There will be a celebration of life at a later date. The Grise Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
