Nereida Martinez , 72, of Hartford passed away at St. Francis Hospital on Wednesday December 16, 2020. She leaves behind her four children Luz Iraida Martinez, Elvis Manuel Martinez, Melvin Martinez and Iris Z. Martinez. She also leaves her ten grandchildren Wilfred, Katherine and Rachel Acevedo and Elvis J., Yahaira, Emanuel, Yazmin, Yaide lisse, Alexis and Madeline Martinez. four great grandchildren, Minerva Acevedo, Jacer Ortiz, Kenneth Martinez and Baby Luciano and her one god son Wilfredo Ecevedo.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to5pm in the chapel of the Hartford Community Funeral Home 380 Maple Avenue, Hartford with a walk through visitation and social distancing and masks required. Service will be Monday morning at 11a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
