WEBSTER – Edward Chodur, 70, died Thursday, December 17, 2020 at home after being stricken ill.
He leaves a daughter, Patricia E. Leandres and her husband Justin of Oxford; 2 grandchildren, Ava and Michael Leandres; 2 sisters, Zofia Wnuk of Dudley and Lucyna Kozlowski of Swiniary, Poland; and nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother Zdzislaw Chodur.
He was born on October 28, 1950 in Swiniary, a son of Jozef and Bronislawa (Szczepanek) Chodur and graduated from a technical high school. He lived in Poland before settling here in 1983.
Mr. Chodur was currently working as a maintenance man at the state courthouse in Worcester. Previously, he was a machinist at a tool and die shop in Southbridge.
He was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. He liked fishing.
His funeral has been postponed and will be announced. There are no calling hours. Current health guidelines will be in place and everyone is asked to wear a mask. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
