ROGERS, CT – Janyce F. Oles, 66, died unexpectedly Monday, December 14, 2020 at her home.
She leaves a daughter, Shannon L. Cantara and a granddaughter, Kendra L. Cantara, both of Danielson; a brother, Timothy Oles and his wife Denise of Putnam; 3 sisters, Sandra Rainey and Judith Oles, both of Putnam and Pamela Brousseau and her husband Martin of Brooklyn, CT; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Couillard. She also leaves her beloved Siamese cat, Monkey.
She was born in Yonkers, NY on May 17, 1954, a daughter of Thomas F. and Jessie (Campion) Oles and lived in Connecticut most of her life. She graduated from Putnam High School in 1972.
Janyce owned and operated the “Clothes Closet” in Danielson for many years. She enjoyed crafting and fashion design.
She was a Justice of the Peace for many years in the State of Connecticut and belonged to Saint James Church in Danielson.
Services will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
