Betty Louise Bussell, 80, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, December 18, 2020, at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Bridget Corley and the Rev. Emory Corley.
Ms. Bussell was born March 27, 1940, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Paul & Mae Hulett Cunningham. She lived in the community all of her life and graduated from high school in 1959. Ms. Bussell worked at the Grand Theater, the Ben Hill County School System in the lunchroom and retired with 30 years of service from Modern Fibers as a machine operator.
She is survived by her two daughters: Jean Fulford & Darrell and Donna Handley & Andy, both of Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren: Jason Shane Bussell, Kayla Renea Fulford, Steven Fulford, James Wesley Handley, Jacob Louis Handley, Brian Britt and Bud Handley; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Jeanette Fletcher & Joe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wylie Cunningham and a sister, Jackie Smith.
