FALL RIVER – Normand P. Pelletier, age 80 of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020 at home. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Lavoie) Pelletier and the son of the late Irenee (Pete) Pelletier and Alexina (Bilodeau) Pelletier.
Prior to retiring, Normand worked as a Union Carpenter. He was a US Army Veteran having served overseas during the Vietnam War, and was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church. Normand loved playing cards & horseshoes with family & friends. He also enjoyed fishing, quahogging, organizing weekend cookouts and a good clam boil with family and friends.
In addition to his wife of Fall River, survivors include his children: Steven Pelletier and Laurie Pelletier both of Fall River; a sister: Diane Tavares of Fall River; three grandchildren: Jason Pelletier, Natasha Pelletier, & Talia Pelletier; six great grandchildren: Dylan Messier, Hunter Ferreira, Jaxon Pelletier, twins Ashlyn & Caroline Satterfield, and Mila Andrade; many nieces & nephews. Normand was also the brother of the late Robert Pelletier and Cora Wilkins.
Family & friends are invited to attend Normand’s Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church on Tuesday, Dec. 22nd at 10:00 A.M. with Military Honors. Cremation to follow.
