William Christopher “Chris” Ethridge, 45, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 4:30 PM, Sunday, December 20, 2020, at the Luke Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia, with the Rev. Ronald Griner officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, from 3:30 PM until 4:00 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Ethridge was born January 12, 1975, in Tifton, Georgia to Virginia Ruth Walker Ethridge of Fitzgerald and the late Rev. Norman Willis Ethridge. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School and worked at Walmart. Mr. Ethridge was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Norma Holton & Coleman; a niece, Amanda Holton and three aunts: Thelma Clark, Ann Griner & Phillip and Lynn Heard & Buck. Several cousins and a host of friends also survive. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Josh Holton.
