Obituary

Beverly T. (Cartier) Bruso passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17 at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham.

She was predeceased by her husband, Paul R. Bruso and her 3 siblings, Virginia E. Keyes, Rosalie M. Morello and Leo A. Cartier.
She leaves 4 children, Roxanne M. Fleming, Joseph P. Bruso, William L. Bruso and James M. Bruso, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the second of 4 children born to Leo P. and Elise R. (Rondeau) Cartier.

Beverly was born in 1927 in Port au Prince, Haiti. Her first few years were spent in Haiti, as her career marine father was stationed there at the time. She regaled her children with many interesting stories of her early years there and at Parris Island. After graduating from Leicester High School, she worked for Wyman Gordon. Following marriage to Paul, Beverly lived in Auburn, Worcester, Poughkeepsie, NY and Spencer, MA. She was an “Avon Lady for many years, sharing a tradition with her mother and older sister. She eventually became a manager for Avon. She was the lynchpin of the family team that owned and ran Maury’s Delicatessen at Webster Square for 16 years. Following retirement, she enjoyed travelling, and taking college courses.

Beverly had a very kind nature. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services will be private. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements
