Beloved Father,
Grandpa, Great Grandpa
Age 95 of North St. Paul. Born November 29, 1925 in New York City. Passed peacefully December 15, 2020. WWII Army Air Force veteran. With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his beautifully compassionate nature, he never hesitated to offer his help and skills to anyone in need. He enjoyed reading as well as the daily paper’s crossword puzzle, word jumble and 7 little words. He looked forward to his daily walks at Maplewood Mall and discussions there with good friends. He especially enjoyed family gatherings, and his sense of humor and wry wit made them all delightful and memorable occasions. Whether his role was husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, supervisor, relative, friend or stranger, by any measure, he was a brilliant light in this world. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 68 years, Dorothea, parents John and Mary Stolz, brothers John and wife Estelle, Edward and wife Pearl, and son-in-law Don Buehre. Survived by children Karen (Paul Thomas) Buehre, Patricia (Harvey) Browne, and Brian (Jo) Stolz; grandchildren Shawn, Suzanne, Tyler, Russell, Olivia and Michelle, great grandchildren Spencer, Jacob, Bennett, Isabele, Jackson and Evelyn. Our deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at St. Therese at St. Odilia’s in Shoreview for the care, comfort and peace you provided Dad.
