CHICOPEE – Carol A. (Mayer) Beaulieu, 77, of the Willimansett Heights section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, December 17, 2020. She passed into Eternal Life at her home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on April 21, 1943, a beloved daughter of the late David and Mildred (Dubilo) Mayer. She was raised in Holyoke, lived in South Hadley and moved to Chicopee in 2000 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was employed for many years in the Billing Department at Holyoke Hospital. During her leisure time, she enjoyed singing at the Front Porch Piano Bar and being on the beautiful beaches in Ogunquit, Maine, testing her luck at Mohegan Sun Casino, going to many productions at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield and playing cards with family and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Donald L. Beaulieu, Jr. who was Called Home on January 5, 2020. She leaves her beloved husband and best friend, Donald L. Beaulieu, Sr. They were married on June 24, 1961 at Mater Dolorosa Church in Holyoke and were blessed with over 59 years of happiness together. She also leaves her three loving children, David J. Beaulieu of Agawam, Charmaine M. Gazda and her partner, Bob Clark, of Chicopee and Michelle A. Wojtowicz and her husband, Michael, of Ludlow; her three cherished grandchildren, Ashley Crawley and her husband, Devin, Olivia Wojtowicz and Jack Wojtowicz; her two dear sisters, Donna M. Britton and her husband, James, of Easthampton and Debbie J. Sexton and her husband, Gary, of Springfield; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and many dear friends who were like family.
