Obituary

Rosalie Hall McAllister, 79, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Tucker and the Rev. Glenn Ford officiating. Mrs. McAllister will be laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Liberty Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. COVID-19 protocol will be observed at both the visitation and the funeral service.

Austin Youngblood, Richard McAllister, B. J. Gray, John Luke Wilson, Tyler Wilson and Chad Morris will serve as pallbearers.

Born October 30, 1941 in Cedar Grove, Indiana, Mrs. McAllister was the daughter of the late John Wesley Hall and Anna Mae Bolser Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. McAllister, Sr.; one son, James W. McAllister; one grandson, Tony Gray; one brother, John D. Hall; and one sister, Ester Fuchs. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a very independent, hard-working lady, who loved her family.

Mrs. McAllister is survived by two sons, Carl F. “Pete” McAllister, Jr. (Lynn Wilson) and Jerry W. McAllister, all of Tifton; two daughters, Patty McAllister McCord and Erma May McAllister, both of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy N. and Betty Jo Hall of West Harrison, Indiana; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Shirley Biddle of Greensburg, Indiana, Carol and John Byrne of Fennville, Michigan and Juanita Cripe of Camden, Ohio; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Krystal and Austin Youngblood of Albany, B. J. and Christy Gray of Fitzgerald, Jerome and Kayla McCann and Jessica and Raul Cordero, all of Ocilla, Stephanie McCord and Michael Powell of Buena Vista and John Luke Wilson and Tyler Wilson, both of Lee, Florida; and eight great-grandchildren, Chloe, Jackson, Emily, Sharon Rose, Miguel, Sonya, Bernie and R. J.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Tift Area, 618 Central Avenue North, Tifton, GA 31794.
