Richard “Dick” Milligan, 76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge and the Rev. James Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 1 PM until 2 PM, in the sanctuary.
Mr. Milligan was born October 11, 1944, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Raymond Eugene & Louise White Milligan. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Mr. Milligan was a house painter and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Rachel & Dwayne Wynn of Fitzgerald; a granddaughter, Gwynnie Wynn; a brother, Jack Milligan of Nashville; two sisters: Betty & George Martin of Fitzgerald and Barbara & Allen Gravitt of Tifton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Darnell Steverson Milligan; two sisters: Martha Louise Latham and Helen Dunn and a brother, Charles Milligan.
