Obituary

John P. Sulkoski, 94, of Worcester, died Tuesday, December 15th in the Fitchburg Health Care Facility. His wife, Doris (Caola) Sulkoski died in 1979. He is survived by his son, Stephen F. Sulkoski and his wife, Susan of West Yarmouth; two grandsons, Mark Sulkoski of Charlton and Christopher Sulkoski of Webster; three great-grandchildren, Haylee, Shawn and Conner; as well as his dear friend, Cynthia Carruthers of Worcester. He was predeceased by his daughter, Joanne Stennett; brothers Frank J. and Theodore Sulkoski and a sister, Malvina Danilowicz.

He was born in Holyoke, the son of Frank and Malvina (Paulski) Sulkoski; and had served in the Army during World War II. John had been employed by J.J. Nissan Bakery as a production line worker for 31 years before retiring. He was a former member of Christ the King Parish, the St. John's Charismatic Prayer Group, the Bakery and Confectionary Union and the Lincoln Village Tenants Association. John's favorite pastime was following the stock market.

His funeral will be Monday, December 21st at 11:00 a.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
