Mary Lou (Foley) Treganowan of Brookline, MA passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 77. Born in 1943 to the late Adelaide (Cole) and John T. Foley in Brookline, MA, she grew up in Portsmouth, NH and later moved to Boston where she met her (late) former husband, Eugene Treganowan. She worked in a dental office in Boston, MA until she became a mother and later became an aide at Baker Elementary School and Baker School Extended Day Program in Brookline, MA. She cherished her time working at Baker where she was known as “Mrs. T.” She loved her coworkers, the students and their families.
Mary Lou is survived by her daughter Emily Treganowan and her husband Thomas Scoggan of Jersey City, NJ and their children Georgia and Annabelle; her daughter Elizabeth Treganowan-Watson and her husband Christopher Watson of Dedham, MA and their children Ellis and Tessa; her siblings, (the late) Thomas Foley; Kevin and Elaine Foley of West Roxbury, MA; Suzanne and Richard Costa of Boston, MA; Paul Foley and Bill Foreman of Roslindale, MA; (the late) Barbara Foley of Littleton, CO; her in-laws Linda Connors of Yonkers, NY; John and Virginia Treganowan of New Rochelle, NY; her nieces and nephews Sao Brandt of Peabody, MA; Nicole Costa Vitkosky of West Roxbury, MA and her children Francis and Grace; Sam Costa of Satellite Beach, FL and his children Bailey and Mackenzie; Marjorie Cruz and her husband Virgilio of Yonkers; Thomas Bundarin and his wife Ellen of Valhalla, NY; John Treganowan and his wife Maureen of Yonkers, NY; Janet Keogh and her husband Timothy of Cape Neddick, ME; Julie Maloney and her husband Bobby of Pelham, NY. Mary Lou also leaves behind several lifelong friends who loved and cared for her dearly. She will be deeply missed.
