Scott N. Patnaude, 79, of Derry, NH passed away on Wednesday December 11, 2019 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. He was born in Derry on January 24, 1940, a son of the late Wilfred and Evelyn (Scott) Patnaude. Scott served his country in the US Air Force from 1958 – 1962. He was employed as a clerk for Aubuchon Hardware and later for Benson’s Lumber and Hardware, both in Derry. Scott was a lifelong resident of Derry and a 1958 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. He was also a member of the American Legion Lester Chase Post #9 in Derry. Scott enjoyed his trips to Maryann’s Diner in Derry where he made many friends.
He is survived by his sister, Billie Jean Bernier and her husband Wilfred of Londonderry, NH, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Helena (Blassius) Patnaude in 2007, and also by his siblings, Alice, Henry, Arlene, Peter, Phillis, Robert and Gerald.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
