WORCESTER – Miss. Jeanne C. Weldon, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2020 in Alliance Health at Marie Esther Health Center, Marlborough. She was 83 years old. Jeanne was the youngest daughter of Alfred T. and Elizabeth E. (Whalen-Seymour) Weldon. She was born in Worcester, MA on October 12, 1937.
Jeanne graduated from St. Joseph Elementary School in 1952. In 1956, she graduated from St. Stephen’s High School. Jeanne worked as a secretary at Norton Abrasive, Riley Stoker, and Warner Swazey. Jeanne was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Church, where she was a member all her life.
Jeanne is survived by her two sisters, Elizabeth M. Guerin of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Sr. Pauline Weldon of Marlborough, MA; a nephew, Raymond T. Guerin and his wife, Kim, of Myrtle Beach, SC; several great grandnieces and nephews; and several cousins. Her sister, Estelle T. Civalier, predeceased her in November of this year.
A Committal Service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 162 Webster St., Worcester. Current guidelines for capacity, wearing facemasks and social distancing will be in effect. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Anne, 720 Boston Post Road, Marlborough, MA 01752.
