Surrounded by her loving family, Blanche E. Knott, 79, of Pine Hill Avenue, died peacefully on Monday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Russell E. Knott.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano “Daniel” and Maria (Manzo) Morrocco. She had been a resident of Johnston for 50 years.
She is survived by a son Russell E. Knott, Jr., of Johnston, three daughters, Joyce B. Bessette and Judy A. Saccoccio, both of Johnston, and Karen L. Enright of Cranston, eight grandchildren, and two sisters Natalie Zanelli, of New London, CT, Theresa Saccoccio of Cranston.
She was the sister of the late Alexander & Daniel Morrocco, Jr., Margaret O’Brien, Frances Zelano, Josephine DiZazzo, Dorothy Falvo Maria Leone and Lydia Byrne.
Funeral Service Thursday at 11 am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt.44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-7pm.
