Terry Neil Lawrence, 77, of Tifton passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Lawrence at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Mr. Lawrence’s nephew, Elder Buck Grantham will officiate.
Bobby Lawrence, Jared Matthews, Zach Matthews, Tucker Matthews and Dan Matthews will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 30 1943 in Miami, Florida, Mr. Lawrence was the son of the late William Lawrence and Gladys Elder Lawrence. Before retiring, he was a gas and propane truck driver. He loved spending time with his family, listening to gospel music and watching Nascar. He was a member of Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
Mr. Lawrence is survived by one son, Bobby Lawrence of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Dan Matthews of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Debbie Lawrence of Tifton; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jared and Krystin Matthews, Zach and Jade Matthews and Tucker Matthews, all of Tifton; and one great-grandson, Parker Matthews.
