Frederick "Rick"Farina Sr.

Died peacefully December 11th, at Morton Hospital, Taunton Ma.
He was surrounded by many loved ones.
His life will be celebrated in a private family ceremony.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Farina (Burke). His beloved dog and movie watching,copilot,Thomas.
Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Farina and Margaret Farina (Gaffney). Survived by his children: Frederick (Rick) Farina Jr. and his wife Linda. Ralph Farina and his wife Pam. Timothy Farina and his wife Lynne. Shari Doran and her husband Mike. The mother of his children: Linda Rodger. Beloved grandfather to seven grandchildren: Ali, Sydney, Lauren, Kelly, Zack, Robyn & Max. Survive by siblings: Elizabeth (Betty) Enos and husband Alan.
Alfred T Farina Jr. Preceded in death by brother Vincent Farin. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Rick wore many hats in his lifetime, he was a barber working at the family barber shop with his father and brother in Dorchester’s Fields Corner in the late 60s. A retail business owner, restauranteur, and even a shoe salesman at Iron Age safety shoes back in the 70s and 80s. Most notably was his automotive sales and management career spanning over 40 years. A business he truly enjoyed, always loved by his customers & coworkers alike. No matter what business he was in he was always considered to be a charismatic people person that enjoyed helping customers, friends and family get what they really needed. A true professional.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MSPCA, or the MDA-Muscular Dystrophy Association in Rick’s honor.
