Obituary

Scott A. Carpentier was in awe in all of God’s creation as he rode atop his motorcycle, with his true love Holly nestled comfortably behind him. As they traveled near and far Scott and Holly’s love for each other stretched ahead as the never-ending roads upon which they travelled. The open road was Scott’s church aisle and the beauty of nature that surrounded him was his inner sanctum.
Scott Alan Carpentier was born on January 8, 1969 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Scott is the loving son of Alfred A. “Fred” Carpentier and Scott’s mom was the late Sandra E. “Sandy” (Plante) Carpentier who passed away on December 12, 2006.

Scott’s efforts stood out as he was deeply moved by what he witnessed and did all he could as part of his assignment. Scott turned in professional work into his personal humanitarian mission.

Some of Scotts favorite times were motorcycle trips thought the area and beyond, including Lake George NY, Laconia NH and all over the place.
Scott and Holly loved being seasonal campers at Bowdish Lake in Chepachet. Scott’s happy place was anywhere he could sit down and enjoy fishing. He was forever in search of reeling in “The Big One”, but at the end of the day it was the time he spent with family and nature that Scott relished most. Scott’s love of others was evident in his devotion and love for his children and grandchildren. Scott also cared for those less fortunate especially the homeless though his outreach and volunteer efforts.
Scott’s love kindness and friendship for all those who were lucky enough to know him will be his enduring legacy.
