Obituary

Webster – Ronald J. Liberis, 75, of Webster, died on Thursday, December 10th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after a brief illness.

Mr. Liberis is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Katherine (Reed) Liberis; three children, Edward Crippen of North Carolina, Thomas Crippen of Northboro and Connie Crippen of Webster; a brother, Dennis Liberis of Northboro; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his buddies, Richy and Logan; many nephews and nieces and his favorite pup, Ryder.

Ron was born in Worcester, son of the late Albert and Martha (Sidloski) Liberis and is predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Steven Liberis. Mr. Liberis proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was deployed twice during his enlistment to Vietnam.

He was the owner of Mid-State Asbestos Removal for many years until his retirement. Ron was a member of Chapter 554 Vietnam Veterans, American Legion Post #13, the VFW Post #1411 and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Mr. Liberis loved taking day trips to the casino was an avid coin collector; he could often be found working around the house fixing everything that did not need repair.

Private burial services with military honors will be held in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Memorial contributions in memory of Ron may be made to Chapter 554 Vietnam Veterans 270 Reservoir Street Holden, MA 01520.
