Marie J. (Grato) St. Pierre 82, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on December 10th, surrounded by her beloved children.
Born December 23, 1937 to Julia and Anthony Grato, in Boston, she was the wife of the late James Warren St. Pierre, who passed away in 2011. She was predeceased by her son, Rene A. St. Pierre who passed away in 1985.
She is survived by her daughter, Juliann St. Pierre of Franklin, her sons Warren St. Pierre and his longtime companion Penelope Arcaro of Franklin, Paul St. Pierre and his wife Rose of Bellingham, and Michael W. St. Pierre and his wife Holly of Cumberland. She was the proud grandmother of Arianna, Kailee and Cody St. Pierre of Cumberland.
Marie was raised and educated in East Boston and was a former longtime resident of Wrentham until moving to Franklin several years ago.
She devoted her life to her children and was a caregiver for over 25 years at the Wrentham Developmental Center.
Marie enjoyed family gatherings and playing bingo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Sunday December 13th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 1-4PM.
Her service and interment will be held privately.
Marie’s children would like to thank Salmon Hospice for the care and compassion shown to Marie during her illness.
