Isabella H. (Hunter) Shea, 88, longtime resident of Webster, died Wednesday, December 9th at the Oceanside Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Hampton, NH. Her husband of over 31 years, David V. Shea, Sr., died in 2018. She is survived by three sons, James S. Keay, Sr. and his wife, Janet of Raynham, Stephen C. Keay and his wife, Jane of Tilton, NH and William S. Keay Sr and his wife, Lisa of North Brookfield, her daughter; Jessica K. Soule of San Tan Valley, AZ; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers, Henry and Ernest Pollister and Donald Hunter and her niece, Edith Boivin, who was like a sister to her.
She was born In Lynn, the daughter of Samuel and Edith (Skinner) Hunter and had been employed by the City of Worcester Public Schools as a secretary and administrative assistant. Isabella had at one time served as head of Worcester's, Massachusetts School Administrators Union.
Her funeral is Wednesday, December 16th with a service at Noon in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Private burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. Calling hours are Tuesday, December 15th from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
