Helen Dimsdale Evans, 76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Medical Center Of Central Georgia in Macon, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Crossview Baptist Church, with Rev. Sonny Pate officiating. Interment will follow in Big Creek Cemetery in Irwin County. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
Ms. Evans was born February 11, 1930, in Turner County, Georgia, to the late William Edgar Dimsdale and the late Pearl Taylor Dimsdale Tomberlin. She lived in the community most of her life. Ms. Evans was a homemaker and a former seamstress for Y & W Sportswear. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
Ms. Evans is survived by her daughters: Gail Burris of Houston, TX, Doris Pavlichek of Frederick, MD and Penny Powell of Fitzgerald; sons: Larry Evans of Silver Spring, MD and Terry Evans of Derby, KS; six grandchildren.
