Arthur W. Saviano (1944-2020) passed away on December 5, 2020. Arthur was born in Medford to Bernadina and Anthony Saviano. He will be deeply missed by his wife Norina (Cangemi) Saviano, son, Luke Saviano, and grandson, Jameson Saviano. He leaves behind his sister, Corrine Stuart and her husband Paul; brother David Saviano and his wife Rose Saviano; Michael Saviano, and the late Francis Saviano. He leaves his special cousin Gloria Hunt. Arthur was a favorite uncle to many nieces and nephews from both the Cangemi and Saviano families, with whom he spent many Sunday dinners and holidays.
Arthur was a lifetime member of the Pipefitters Local 537 in Boston, where he was highly respected for his work ethic, commitment to the trade and his union brothers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Tuesday December 29th from 4 – 7 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford. A graveside service will be conducted at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford on Wednesday morning at 11. Please follow social distancing protocols for all services.
